VSampler 2 FAQ

Der Vertrieb von VSampler 2 wurde im Oktober 2003 offiziell zugunsten von VSampler 3 eingestellt. Die FAQ stehen für VSampler 2 Nutzer weiterhin zur Verfügung, eine deutsche Version existiert leider nicht.

1. How to delete multiple Presets from a bank at once?

You can't do that at the grid of the "Presets" page directly, but through the menu: Edit --> Delete Presets, a special grid pops up which allows multiselection and deleting multiple Presets at once. Before you ask, yes, that's a bit odd.

2. I always read about drag'n'drop, but it doesn't work?

All VSampler-internal drag'n'drop actions work by right mousekey, not by left mousekey as usual. This has "historical" reasons and will be changed in VSampler 3.

3. I'm a Sonar user and I want to drag'n'drop samples from the Windows explorer to VSampler's Split-bar, but it doesn't work?

That's a known issue, yes. Even in coop with Cakewalk we didn't find the reason. It works in all VST-compatible hosts and even in other DXi hosts (e.g. FruityLoops), but not in Sonar.
